Commercial Solar That Fits Your Site and Usage
Every business uses power differently. Some sites have high daytime usage, others have strong peaks, and some run extended hours. That is why we tailor every commercial solar system to the way your site actually consumes energy.
- Daytime load reduction (ideal for offices, retail, and many industrial sites)
- Peak demand support (where solar helps reduce peak grid reliance)
- Multi-site planning (consistent approach across multiple locations)
- Battery-ready solutions (add storage later if required)
If you have interval data or recent electricity bills, we can model expected savings and system performance and show you the numbers in plain language.

NSW Home Energy Saver: make your upgrade cheaper upfront
The NSW Government’s Home Energy Saver helps eligible households cover the upfront cost of solar, home batteries and EV chargers. There are two parts to it. A zero-interest loan of up to $15,000 is open now for property owners, repayable over up to 10 years. A discount of up to $4,000 for lower income households and renters is opening soon.
The rules catch people out. If you want both, you have to apply for the discount first, then use the loan to cover the balance. Do it the other way around and the discount cannot be used on that purchase. Your installer also has to be an approved supplier under the program.
We’ll tell you straight which support your household qualifies for, what it covers, and handle the paperwork with you.
- Zero-interest loan up to $15,000: repayable over up to 10 years, open to NSW property owners now.
- Discount up to $4,000: opening soon for households under $80,000 income or holding an eligible concession card.
- Renters can claim too: with landlord approval, so you are not stuck with a cold house you don't own.
- Landlords are eligible for the loan: a cheap way to lift the value and rating of an investment property.
- No interest, ever: It is a NSW Government backed loan, not a finance company product with a rate attached.
Free, no obligation. An Interactive Solar NSW rebate specialist will call you back.
Commercial solar just got 20 per cent cheaper
From 1 October 2026 the federal solar rebate expands from 100 kW to 1 MW. That means businesses, farms, schools and community organisations can finally put a properly sized system on the roof and still get the upfront discount, cutting around 20 per cent off the install cost.
For a 250 kW system that is roughly $68,000 off the install and around $50,000 a year off your power bill. Bigger sites save more. It runs through the existing scheme, so there is no new application process and no red tape, and it sits on top of any state support you qualify for.
The smart move is to have your system designed and quoted now so you are ready to install the day it starts. Interactive Solar designs, supplies and installs commercial rooftop solar across NSW with our own accredited team.
- Around 20 per cent off: the upfront cost of a commercial rooftop solar system.
- Systems up to 1 MW now eligible: ten times the old 100 kW limit.
- About $68,000 off a 250 kW system: about $136,000 off a 500 kW system..
- Roughly $50,000 a year: off electricity for a typical 250 kW install, and about $175,000 a year at 850 kW.
- No new paperwork: It runs through the existing SRES that has operated since 2011, the discount comes straight off your install price.
- Open to farms, schools, hospitals, clubs and community groups: not just companies.
